Breaking up is hard to do, although the song “Breaking Up is Hard To Do” is altogether too cheery. Misery loves company. When you’ve just broken up you want to hear lyrics and singing that are so miserable that they might be coming from a prison or the depths of Hades. You will survive, but in the meantime savor the suffering of million of other broken hearts.
